WR Gabriel Davis: 2020 NFL Draft, round 4, pick No. 128

Coming off quite possibly the best playoff game of all time for a wide receiver, Gabriel Davis likely secured his future with the Bills.

Regardless of this insane playoff game, Gabriel Davis has been solid for the Bills since he was drafted, catching 35 passes for 549 yards and 6 TD’s while only playing 51% of snaps in 16 games played this season.

While these numbers are slightly worse than his rookie season, this is because of the Bills signing Emmanuel Sanders, alongside the increased usage of Isaiah McKenzie.

Gabriel Davis saw an increase of snaps towards the end of the year which is a huge reason as to why he had the game he did in the playoffs.

From weeks 14 to 18, Davis played over 80% of snaps in each game, catching 16 passes for 207 yards and 3 TD’s.

When you take into consideration how poor some of the receivers on the NY Giants played this season, Joe Schoen may want to bring in a receiver in the later rounds to replace the current personnel, and with a pick like Gabriel Davis showing out when it mattered most, there is reason to be excited about Schoen’s drafting potential.
