Ability to unlock a QB

Brian Daboll has been labeled as a quarterback whisperer.

Daboll is given the credit of making Josh Allen become the elite quarterback that he is today. And there is hope that he can do the same to Daniel Jones.

The New York Giants Giants have seemingly committed to Jones, for at least one more season. And while it is unrealistic to believe that Jones can jump to the level of Josh Allen in just one off-season with Daboll, some sort of jump isn’t out of the question.

Jones is 6-5 and 221 pounds; Allen is 6-5 and 237. Both quarterbacks have big arms, can make plays with their legs, and have shown that they are willing to take a hit to gain yards. The main difference between these two is who they’ve had calling plays for them up to this point in their career.

Between the aggressiveness that Daboll calls plays, to the ability that Jones has proven he has, this pairing could be just what the young QB needs.

When utilized correctly, Jones has shown that he is a capable quarterback. The inconsistency that the Giants front office has had hasn’t helped Jones fulfill his full potential. A coach like Daboll should provide Jones with just that.
