Round 3, pick No. 67: TE Isaiah Likely, Coastal Carolina

With Evan Engram likely not returning to the Giants next season, there is a very good chance the New York Giants look to replace Engram through the draft, and the ideal replacement might just be Isaiah Likely out of Coastal Carolina.

Coming in at 6’4, 240 pounds, Likely dominated this season at Coastal Carolina, catching 59 passes for 912 yards and 12 TD’s, while also being a very solid blocker.

Likely is a tremendous receiver who not only possesses elite hands but is also deadly in the open field, only dropping one pass on 77 targets this season, this is something the NY Giants are not used to with Evan Engram.

Likely is a very solid blocker, gaining a run-blocking grade of 75.0 per, PFF.

The only real knock on Likely’s blocking ability is that he sometimes lacks commitment to blocking in the open field, this is something that could hinder his potential to be an all-around TE once he reaches the NFL, but the Giants probably shouldn’t worry too much about that.
