Annotated with a gold jacket the night he was drafted 2nd overall in 2018, Barkley got off to a fantastic start winning Rookie of the Year honors in 2018.

It has been all downhill from there.

Injuries in his next two seasons, including an ACL tear have knocked him way off course.

Barkley was a shell of himself this year, only showing minute flashes of that great rookie year. In the final year of his contract, Barkley will be a free agent next year. New head coach Brian Daboll is already in love with him, but he could too be blinded by the talent as Gettleman was in 2018.
