Devin Lloyd, LB Utah

Devin Lloyd is regarded by many as the best linebacker prospect in this year’s draft. His rare blend of speed and strength, and his ability to be effective in both the run and pass game could make him a top-10 pick.

The New York Giants have been on the hunt for an elite middle linebacker for sometime. With Blake Martinez coming back from a torn ACL, a player such as Lloyd could be the perfect prospect to take over.

Lloyd finished his collegiate career with a stat sheet that left nothing to be desired. He recorded 256 tackles, 43 tackles for loss, and 15.5 sacks. He also proved to be highly effective in pass defense. He notched five interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns.

Lloyd would be an immediate starter, and an upgrade compared to what the Giants currently have at the position. He could be an intriguing option for this team.
