Develop the young players they currently have:

The Bengals are a very young team, and with most of their big names coming from the last three drafts, it shows just how important development can be for a team.

For example, in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Bengals drafted 3 key players to their team within the first 3 rounds in Joe Burrow, Tee Higgins, and Logan Wilson.

Joe Burrow looked solid his rookie year but was limited to only 10 games after tearing his ACL. This season Burrow came back and blossomed into one of the best QB’s in the league while leading his team to a Super Bowl appearance.

Tee Higgins looked very good his rookie season, catching 67 passes for 908 yards and six touchdowns. Higgins improved upon his rookie season this year, catching 74 passes for 1,091 yards and six touchdowns, becoming a tremendous complimentary piece to Ja’Marr chase.

Logan Wilson didn’t see the field much his rookie season, only playing in 43% of snaps in 12 games played. However, he broke out into one of the better linebackers in the NFL this season, tallying 100 combined tackles, 5 interceptions (league-high among LB’s), and 1 forced fumble. Wilson has also been tremendous these playoffs, tallying 30 tackles, one interception, and two pass deflections in three games.

The New York Giants have failed to develop several players they have drafted over the years. With misses like Will Hernandez, Oshane Ximines, Deandre Baker, etc. the NY Giants must do a better job at drafting and developing players if they want to have a chance at success in the future.
