Odell Beckham Jr. finally got to experience the joy of celebrating a Super Bowl championship, as the former New York Giants star took part in the Rams’ parade Wednesday
Former New York Giants superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has finally reached football heaven.
The eight-year veteran played a key role in the Los Angeles Rams defeating the Cincinnati Bengals in the Super Bowl this past weekend.
Beckham scored the first touchdown of the game. He finished the game with two receptions on three targets for 53 yards and one touchdown, but also tore his ACL.
Unfortunately, in the second quarter of the game, Odell suffered a torn ACL. The same ACL injury that ended his season early last year.
While he will have to figure out his plans for the future over the next few weeks, all he is worried about right now is celebrating a Super Bowl victory with his teammates. And this Rams team is celebrating in a big way.
Beckham has been one of the most scrutinized players since he entered the league. The electricity that surrounds him causes a split in people. But up to this point, he has earned nearly every possible achievement in the NFL. Rookie of the Year, three-time Pro Bowler, and two-time second-team All-Pro.
A storied career can now be topped off with the most important accolade of them all. A Super Bowl victory. And hopefully, there will be more to come from one of the most exciting players football has ever seen.
