EDGE – Lorenzo Carter

Carter’s career has been wildly inconsistent since being chosen by the New York Giants in the third-round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

However, the former Georgia standout is coming off one of the more productive seasons of his career, seems to be ascending, is a homegrown talent, and is the type of player the Giants should try to maintain as part of their core.

It is entirely possible that Carter may price himself out of the Giants’ market, given the fact that he plays a premium position and is coming off a five-sack, 31-pressure campaign en route to a 65.3 overall grade from Pro Football Focus.

However, for the right price, bringing Carter back and pairing him with second-year rusher Azeez Ojulari and any potential incoming draft picks could form the foundation of a formidable crop of edge rushers.
