Hassan Haskins, Michigan

Michigan running back Hassan Haskins could be one of the rookie running backs that can take the league by storm. During his time at Michigan, Haskins was featured in a prominent role as soon as he stepped onto the field.

Over his 32 career games, Haskins totaled 2495 yards and 30 touchdowns on 476 total touches. During his last season, Haskins more than doubled the stats of his previous two seasons. He rushed for 1327 yards and 20 touchdowns on 270 attempts. He averaged 4.9 yards per carrying.

Haskins turned in the best game of his collegiate career in the final game of the 2021 regular season. He rushed for 169 yards and five touchdowns against Ohio State.

At 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, Haskins has the size to play at the next level. He has already proven that he can keep up with even the best defenses. While he isn’t the fastest player on the field, nor the best overall runner, he does excel in other areas.

Haskins has proven to be among the best pass blockers in college football. Given how heavily scrutinized Barkley has been for his pass-blocking ability, having a player such as Haskins could be a help to this offense.

While he isn’t touted as the best running back in this class, Haskins could very well carve out his own lane at the next level. He is great in areas where you want your running back to be great. And he could also be available late in the draft. If the Giants wish to find a solid replacement for Booker, Haskins could be the guy.
