Iowa quarterback Spencer Petras (7) gets set to take a snap from center Tyler Linderbaum (65) during a NCAA college football game in the Vrbo Citrus Bowl against Kentucky, Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla.220101 Iowa Kentucky Citrus Fb Extra 042 Jpg /

No. 1: C Tyler Linderbaum, Iowa

There’s an argument to be made that Tyler Linderbaum has the potential to be one of, if not the best centers in the entire NFL right out of the gate.

Linderbaum’s abilities as both a run and pass blocker are truly special and should not be looked down upon.

However, due to positional value, it is likely that Tyler Linderbaum will slip a little bit in the draft, despite this, Linderbaum truly has what it takes to be a superstar in this league.

Whether it be his unbelievable speed/athleticism, strength, or overall IQ, Tyler Linderbaum may be the best offensive lineman prospect I have ever watched.

Coming in at 6-foot-3 and 290 pounds,\ Linderbaum had himself a ridiculous season at Iowa this year, gaining a pass blocking grade of 79.8, alongside a ridiculous run blocking grade of 96.6 per, PFF. Linderbaum also became PFF’s highest graded center since they began their college evaluations back in 2014.

Gaining comparisons to HOFer Jason Kelce, Tyler Linderbaum is one of, if not the best run blockers I have ever seen, whether he’s clearing holes on the offensive line for his RB, or destroying opponents at the second level, Tyler Linderbaum always gets the job done.

Arguably the most impressive aspect of Tyler Linderbaum is his speed, it’s extremely rare to see a lineman move like this:

Tyler Linderbaum is, in my opinion, a can’t miss prospect. However, due to positional value, it is likely Linderbaum will fall out of the top 15, maybe even top 20.
