Round 3, pick No. 69: Jamaree Salyer, OT, Georgia

Offensive tackle is arguably the most pressing need on the New York Giants’ roster, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see it addressed long before Round 3.

However, if as this projection lays out, the Giants bolster a defense in dire need of playmakers with early selections, there may not be a prospect with more value on the board at this stage than Jamaree Salyer.

Salyer, 6-foot-3 and 321 pounds, has the frame to anchor an offensive line and showed out by putting up 225 pounds 31 times on the bench press.

What might make Salyer a great fit for the Giants is the fact that he has the versatility to play tackle or either guard position.
