Round 3, pick No. 79: Abraham Lucas, OT, Washington State

Building out the offensive line by adding as many as four new starters is a top-line priority for Schoen this offseason, as is collecting as many quality depth players as possible among one of the more porous units in the league.

Lucas has the potential to check a box in the former category.

A four-year starter along Washington State’s offensive line, one current NFL personnel executive compared Lucas to former Giants tackle Nate Solder, and tells FanSided he has a second-round trade on him.

The New York Giants have one bookend tackle in Andrew Thomas, and could easily add Lucas to compete for the starting job anchoring the right side of the line.
