Left Guard: Zion Johnson

Whether the New York Giants trade back in the draft to select him, or he falls to the second round,  Zion Johnson is a must-draft prospect for the team.

Coming in at 6-foot-2 and 312 pounds, Johnson made a name for himself this season at Boston College, gaining a pass blocking grade of 81.6, alongside a run blocking grade of 84.4 per, PFF. In addition to these grades, Johnson only allowed 1 sack, 2 QB hits, and 3 QB hurries in 364 pass blocking snaps.

Johnson, is the most underrated offensive line prospect in the draft, as he has the potential to be a superstar in this league. Whether it be his ridiculous strength/power, tremendous footwork, or his ability as an elite run and pass blocker, there is a lot to like about Johnson.

If the New York Giants are able to draft Zion Johnson and place him on the same side as Andrew Thomas, they could make for one of the more dominate duo’s in the NFL for a long time to come.
