Center: Jon Feliciano

At the start of free agency, the New York Giants signed former Buffalo Bills guard Jon Feliciano to a one year deal to be the teams new Center. While his most recent position is guard, according to Feliciano himself, center is his best position and he is very excited to be able to play it again.

Feliciano has only played nine games in each of his last two seasons, although he has yet to allow a sack in the 1,000+ snaps between the two years.

While he is not anything crazy in terms of his ability and skill as an offensive lineman, he is certainly an improvement over Billy Price, and with it being unknown when or IF Nick Gates will be able to return, it is better to sign a safer option at center.

If Feliciano can improve his play with the switch to center, it is likely that the NY Giants will have one of the better offensive lines in the NFL, as he will be the one “weak” spot on the line, although I believe he will do just fine for the NY Giants.
