OL Ikem Ekwonu, NC State:

While there is a chance that Ikem Ekwonu is taken before the New York Giants make their No. 5 overall selection, this does not mean the Giants should not prioritize him.

Ikem Ekwonu is a prospect who should be considered the second-best tackle prospect in the draft only behind Evan Neal, who will likely be gone within the first three picks.

With the New York Giants signing Glowinski and Jon Feliciano to likely be the new right guard and center, it is likely that the Giants look to fill the rest of the offensive line through the draft

Whether it be his utterly dominant run blocking, or ever-so improving ability as a pass blocker, there is a lot to like about Ikem Ekwonu.

While some scouts believe Ikem Ekwonu may make the shift to guard, as his play style and frame best fit that position, the NY Giants should keep him at tackle.

If they do this, not only will we have an elite run blocker at right tackle, they will also have one of, if not the best young tackle duo’s in the entire NFL with Ekwonu and Andrew Thomas.
