The New York Giants will aim to bolster the pass-rush via the NFL Draft, and must replace 2018 third-round draft choice, Lorenzo Carter, who signed with the Falcons

Lorenzo Carter was a solid former third-round steal for the New York Giants, but Carter departed via free agency last month, signing with the Atlanta Falcons.

Carter played in 14 games last season and picked up 50 tackles with five sacks.

As a SAM linebacker, he was a solid presence on the outside and made an impact on the rush as well as decent coverage.

The Giants will now have to find Carter’s replacement in the draft, ideally, in the same third-round, they picked Carter originally. If not earlier.

Luckily for the New York Giants, there are a number of reliable. linebackers in this draft, especially in those later rounds.

Carter will have a homecoming to Georgia where he played his High School and College ball, while the Giants have work to do on draft day.

Here’s a look at five potential replacements for Lorenzo Carter the New York Giants can target during the NFL Draft
