Brian Asamoah

Brian Asamoah had a solid come-up at the University of Oklahoma and truly broke out this season.

The linebacker was selected to the second-team All-Big 12 as he led the team with 90 tackles and forced two fumbles.

He is one of those players that can make an impact all over the field and could play a similar role to carter.

Asamoah will also be available in the middle to late rounds, so the Giants will not have to spend too much to get him.

He will be able to make a good impact on 4-3 style defenses and is great at pursuit angles as a linebacker.

Asamoah has had issues completing tackles but could see that skill improved under some coaching to finish those tackles off those pursuit angles.

He is one of those aggressive players the Giants could develop and make effective down the road.

Asamoah is able to rush, make could coverage plays, and stop the rush, all for a low-value pick. He would be a very solid selection if the Giants are able to grab him in the fifth or sixth round.
