The New York Giants’ pros to drafting Kyle Hamilton

Hamilton is a versatile defensive back who can read the entire field, and put himself in positions to break up plays.

This past season for the Irish, he logged 34 tackles, two of them for loss, four passes defended, and three interceptions, all in seven games.

He also has a phenomenal frame at 6’4 220, and already has the physical attributes to make an impact in the NFL from day one.

New defensive coordinator Don Martindale would be able to place Hamilton all over the field and use him as an effective box safety.

Hamilton has elite ball skills and is also able to consistently read plays before they happen, and know exactly where the gap is going to be, or where the ball might go.

His ability to read the quarterbacks’ eyes is also among the best out of the defensive prospects that have come out in the past few years.

If the New York Giants can select Hamilton, their secondary improves greatly, however, they would be missing out on other talents.
