Top 3 reasons to be excited about the NY Giants next season
Last season was a depressing time to be a fan of the NY Giants. However, after multiple changes to the front office, roster, and coaching staff, there is hope in the air once again. While these changes may not have an immediate effect on the success of the team. A lot of these changes may bring the entertainment value of the team up.
I believe that the combination of young players and new coaching staff could bring a lot of entertainment to next season. Regardless of how the team’s record pans out. Here are three reasons why fans should be excited about the Giants next season.
NY Giants: 3. New offensive scheme
Last season, the Giants may have been the most painful team to watch in the entire NFL. This is mostly due to incompetent play calling from both Jason Garrett and Freddie Kitchens. However, this season brings a new offensive scheme that seems like it could be very exciting.
The combination of Brian Daboll and Mike Kafka seems very promising in terms of an offensive scheme. When you add in the dynamic playmakers currently on the Giants roster, such as Kadarius Toney, Saquon Barkley, Wan’Dale Robinson, and Kenny Golladay. There is a ton of potential to finally have a competent offense.
In addition to the coaching staff, the Giants also revamped their once putrid offensive line. Likely giving Daniel Jones more time to throw, and Saquon Barkley more room to run. If the offensive line pans out like it seems it will, there is a good chance the Giants’ offense looks elite next season.
We have seen what Daniel Jones can do when he has time to throw the ball and has his weapons. If the team around him can stay healthy, there is a good chance he has a breakout season, and looks like he was worthy of the number 6 overall pick that was used on him.
