Top 3 reasons to be excited about the NY Giants next season
NY Giants: 2. Dynamic playmakers on both sides of the ball
Something the Giants missed desperately last season were dynamic players on both offense and defense. This was mostly due to injury, as Kadarius Toney, Saquon Barkley, and Kenny Golladay missed significant time due to said injuries.
This season the Giants will have all of these playmakers back, plus some new additions to the team like Wan’Dale Robinson and Kayvon Thibodeaux. When you combine this with the new offensive scheme I mentioned before, there is a good chance that this Giants offense looks very exciting.
We have seen what Saquon Barkley and Kadarius Toney are capable of when they have the ball in their hands. When you add in another dynamic playmaker like Wan’Dale Robinson? That’s a recipe for excitement if you ask me.
On the defensive side of the ball, Kayvon Thibodeaux is likely to be one of the premier edge rushers in the league early on in his career. Putting him opposite Azeez Ojulari, who had a very promising rookie season, could make for one of the deadliest pass-rushing duos in the NFL for a long time.
