After the Buffalo Bills decided to release veteran offensive lineman Jon Feliciano, it didn’t take long for him to realize he wanted to join the NY Giants and former Buffalo offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, the new head man for the G-Men. As it turns out, though, things weren’t all bells and whistles for the hoss during his time with the team.

Feliciano had been a starting guard for the Bills for the first half of the season, but he then injured his calf in Week 8 against Miami. Just like that, Feliciano was sidelined and he didn’t have his job once he returned to full health.

He appeared in nine games in 2021, but wasn’t on the field for the AFC Divisional Round against the Chiefs. As it turns out, Feliciano was pretty ticked off, making that much clear while on The Ariel Helwani Show.

NY Giants OL Jon Feliciano said the Bills got what they deserved vs. Chiefs

"“I can’t lie, there’s a part of me that was like, oh, y’all got what you deserved,” Feliciano said on the Bills losing to the Chiefs via NJ.com. “Honestly, when you look back at that game, everyone was just going through the motions. There wasn’t anyone challenging in the face of KC’s defense or there was no attitude out there and I feel like that’s what I bring. I feel like potentially if there was that it would’ve been a close game. But who knows, I might be wrong.”"

What really stands out from that quote above is Feliciano saying the Bills got what they deserved in the loss to Kansas City. Feliciano did say that he was supporting his teammates as much as he could from the sidelines, but he obviously wanted to be out there going to battle with the rest of the guys donning Buffalo gear.

Feliciano wasn’t given that opportunity and he was cut by the front office a little bit down the road from that defeat. Since then, Feliciano has found a new home in East Rutherford and he’s been making a splash at OTAs from his center spot.

With the offensive line having a new feel to things entering 2022, Feliciano and Co. have a different mindset and this is of course going to be great news for quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley. Buffalo fans can’t be too happy seeing how Feliciano feels about his former team, but he doesn’t care about that. Feliciano is ready to grind for New York.
