For the NY Giants, cornerback Adoree’ Jackson is ready to have a big year and he’s making plenty of noise over at OTAs. Well, Jackson is also making quite the splash off the field, as his latest gesture is sure to warm your heart. Before making his way over to New York, Jackson was a 5-star football recruit out of high school who signed with USC.

Jackson was a top prospect for Gardena Serra High, with a boatload of schools coming after him. Jackson hasn’t forgotten where he has come from, as he’s always ready to give back to his community. This was the case with his alma mater winning a state title, and Jackson went ahead and bought the players their championship rings. This is awesome.

Imagine being a player for Gardena Serra and hearing that a stud defensive back for the NY Giants was the one responsible for purchasing your ring. It most definitely made the successful campaign even more special for this group of young men. Jackson is getting plenty of love on Twitter for his decision and rightfully so.

Jackson knows he wouldn’t be where he is today had it not been for his high school coaches pushing him and helping him elevate his game. It led to him making suiting up for USC to ball out and now he’s with the Giants poised to be a defensive leader in 2022. There’s a new look for NY as a whole and Jackson will have even more pressure on him to deliver now that James Bradberry is with the Eagles.

With Jackson entering his sixth year in the NFL, and his second with the Giants, the expectations will be high for him in helping out new defensive coordinator Wink Martindale. Last season, Jackson posted 62 tackles and one interception in 13 games. He’ll look to be even more productive in 2022 and he’ll have all the kids at his alma mater ready to cheer him on too.
