Predicting the starting offense for the NY Giants next season
Running Back: Saquon Barkley
Similar to Jones, this is yet another obvious pick.
Whether it be due to injuries or the fact that Saquon Barkley has played behind one of, if not the worst offensive lines in the entire NFL throughout his career thus far, his tenure has not been as illustrious as we once thought it would
While the lack of success in Barkley’s career is mostly due to things outside of his control, fans still expected more out of the ‘back when he was drafted second overall in 2018.
However, with a revamped offensive line and an offseason of healing, it is likely that we will finally see Barkley return to his 2018 form. At least, I hope so.
We have seen that, when healthy, Barkley still possesses the speed and agility he once had. Despite this, the weight of a horrific offensive line has been holding him down for quite some time now.
As I previously mentioned, and will get into, the NY Giants have a new and revamped offensive line that will look to help the development of Barkley and Jones as they enter the final years of their contracts.
