Kayvon Thibodeaux NY Giants jersey sales skyrocketing in the UK

With the NY Giants all set to travel across the pond later this year for a highly-anticipated showdown with Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, it looks like fans in the United Kingdom are high on the team already. One player in particular for the G-Men is making quite the splash: rookie pass-rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux.

The figures are out for the top jersey sales in the UK, and Thibodeaux has surprisingly checked in at No. 9 on the list. He’s got some incredible company for the Top 10, as Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, Davante Adams, Cooper Kupp and Lamar Jackson are also on there.

NY Giants vs. Green Bay in London should be a thriller

Come Oct. 9, the Packers and Giants indeed will face off in London at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The place will be rocking and packed for what figures to be a fun NFC showdown. For Thibodeaux, this will of course be his first international showdown in the pros, as he’s getting ready to make his regular season debut come Week 1 against the Titans.

New York was able to grab Thibodeaux with the No. 5 overall pick and the fanbase hasn’t stopped talking about the youngster. Despite being sidelined at OTAs due to injury, and Brian Daboll not guaranteeing he’ll be ready for the start of training camp, Thibodeaux has monster potential and people are ready to see him record countless sacks during his career.

With this bubbling personality, it’s easy to see why so many people in the UK have already shown him plenty of support by rocking his jersey. This kid hasn’t even played a down of football yet in the NFL, and he’s in the Top 10 for jersey sales in the UK? That really tells you something about his popularity.

Things are only going to grow for Thibodeaux in this regard if he puts on a show once the pads go on. After a stellar career at Oregon, Thibodeaux is ready for more of the same now that he’s with the Giants. NY is ready to put the 4-13 campaign from 2021 behind them and push forward in a big way in 2022. Thibodeaux wants to make sure he plays a big role in that. With this latest jersey update too, it could even motivate him to have an even bigger game against the Packers in London. That’s bad news for Rodgers.
