3 NY Giants offensive players who are primed for a breakout season
2. Kadarius Toney
After a somewhat lackluster rookie season (which was not his fault by ANY means), Kadarius Toney is entering his second year in the NFL and is looking to showcase what made him worthy of being drafted in the first round.
Toney, from a statistical standpoint, had somewhat of a disappointing rookie season, only catching 39 passes for 420 yards and no touchdowns. Despite this, Toney showed of his unbelievable ability to make plays in the open field and even flashed some potential to be the next superstar wide receiver for the NY Giants. The fact that Toney only had 420 yards despite his obvious talent shows how truly incompetent the former coaching staff of the NY Giants was.
However, with a new, and exciting coaching staff that features Brian Daboll and Mike Kafka, it is very likely that we see Toney utilized to the best of his abilities. If Daboll is able to come up with some plays to utilize Toney to his fullest potential, then it is very likely that we will see a new, and very exciting offense for the NY Giants. All eyes will be on Toney.
