While he was putting on a show at NY Giants minicamp, fans could definitely notice two things about Saquon Barkley: he looked leaner and he sure looked like he was having fun out on the field again. Barkley has been working like a mad man this offseason to stay in shape and to make sure he’ll be able to be at his best for the regular season.

In case you needed further proof of that, Barkley has delivered in a head-turning way. The fourth-year running back took to Twitter to showcase some photos from a workout and plenty of people aren’t going to believe what they see. Barkley looks like a totally new man.

NY Giants RB Saquon Barkley looks ripped beyond belief

Those are the abs that would make someone like Cristiano Ronaldo jealous. In all seriousness, Barkley does look fantastic and the replies to his tweet let you know just how taken aback people are. If anything, though, Giants supporters love seeing this from the speedster, as again, it shows you just how serious he’s taking his training.

After struggling last year, Barkley probably saw all of the hate he was receiving all over social media. He was called overrated, a bust, not good enough and more countless times. Barkley entered 2021 with high expectations, but he just didn’t look the same after coming off his torn ACL.

Now, though, the hype is at an all-time high for Barkley once again and he has Big Blue supporters ecstatic to see what he’ll be able to get done moving forward. Head coach Brian Daboll and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will be ready to feature him heavily in the passing game in 2022, which obviously will be massive for Daniel Jones.

Barkley hasn’t been as strong on the gridiron since his rookie campaign in 2018 when he went to the Pro Bowl. Things could change dramatically for him this season, however, as the offensive line has totally changed and the same struggling unit from 2021 won’t be featured.

Once he gets back to East Rutherford, Barkley will look to turn even more heads. Leading up to Day 1 of camp, he’ll no question have people talking over his new-look physique.
