Watch Giants great Brandon Jacobs blast the Cowboys in NSFW fashion
The rivalry between the Dallas Cowboys and NY Giants is something that sure is tough to match. Just ask team legend Brandon Jacobs about that. Jacobs, with the body of a linebacker, was all too familiar with the beef between the two NFC East sides, as he suited up for the G-Men for eight years, which was highlighted by his two Super Bowl wins.
In his meetings with the Cowboys, Jacobs learned to hate the divisional foes more and more. Matter of fact, Jacobs didn’t hold back when he was speaking with Bobby Skinner of the Talkin’ Giants Podcast. While discussing Dallas with Skinner, the two re-lived a short touchdown run from Jacobs in Arlington. Then, the ex-running back didn’t hesitate in blasting the Cowboys as a whole.
NY Giants great Brandon Jacobs absolutely torched the Cowboys
Seconds after that TD run, Jacobs grabbed the ball and tossed it at the play clock with an unreal amount of anger. Boos followed, but the 6-4, 265-pounder could not have cared less about that. You think Jacobs was going to lose sleep over him upsetting either the Dallas player or their fans? Not a chance.
Even if someone did have a problem with him, who was going to try and say something to Jacobs? His size alone instills plenty of fear into opponents. Add in his outstanding ways running the ball and it’s no secret why he was so beloved by the Giants faithful. During his eight seasons in New York, Jacobs was so much fun to watch and he bulldozed over countless would-be tacklers.
He helped the G-Men win it all in 2007 and 2011. On top of that, he posted 1,000-yard rushing campaigns in 2007 and 2008. In total, Jacobs rushed for 5,094 yards and 60 touchdowns. During ’08, Jacobs made so many people ecstatic who had him on their fantasy football teams, as he recorded 1,089 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns. That’s a tremendous amount of production.
Jacobs then went on to suit up for the 49ers for one season in 2012 before returning to the Giants in 2013 for seven games. Now that he’s retired, Jacobs of course loves talking about his glory days on the gridiron and that obviously includes all the great memories with New York. With that, he’ll also be more than willing to talk about Dallas and how much he despises the team. A lot of G-Men supporters share that same feeling.
