2. Super Bowl wins over the Patriots in 2007 and 2011

No one – and we mean no one – has forgotten about the unreal season the Giants were able to record in 2007 and 2011, in addition to the wins in 1987 and 1991. During both of those campaigns in ’07 and ’11, virtually everyone had this team written off, with only a handful of people believing Eli Manning and Co. had any shot of winning it all.

During both seasons, the G-Men were able to shock the world going up against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. The Giants were underdogs in those respective Super Bowl contests, but they were able to pull off enough magic late in those games to eventually call themselves the champions. Both victories were magical in their own right.

What makes things better is that while they may have been more than 10 years ago, these wins really don’t feel that far away. The same can’t be said for Dallas Cowboys fans, as they haven’t been able to witness a Super Bowl showdown that means something to them since the 1995 season. While ‘America’s Team’ was a treat to watch in the 1990s, things have changed.

In present time, the Cowboys have been overhyped, and they’ve underdelivered time and time again. Last season, people all over Texas thought Dallas would finally find a way to get back to the big game. Instead, Dan Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and the rest of the playmakers choked when it mattered most and the team lost to the 49ers in the NFC Wild Card Round. That had to hurt. While Dallas may have more rings than the Giants, New York has won it all most recently – twice.
