Daniel Jones quote on working with Brian Daboll is great for the NY Giants as a whole
Now that NY Giants head coach Brian Daboll is leading the charge, the days of pessimism and low belief in the team – for now – is nowhere to be seen. Daboll has injected the organization with an unreal amount of excitement, with people firmly believing he’s the right man to help former No. 6 overall pick Daniel Jones get his career moving in the right direction.
It’s clear Jones has the same kind of belief in Daboll, as well as new offensive coordinator Mike Kafka. Daboll made his way to New Jersey from Buffalo, while Kafka moved east from Kansas City. Both coaches are proven winners, and their mentality has 100 percent made an impact on Jones thus far. While Jones was on the Giants Huddle Podcast, he shared how jazzed he is to work with Daboll and Kafka.

"“I am excited. When you look at both of those guys (Daboll and Kafka) and the success they’ve had on offense and places they’ve been, that’s been fun to watch,” Jones said via the team’s official site. “It’s exciting for all of us to be a part of that. We understand there’s a lot of work to do before we get there, but we’re excited for what we can be.”"
Big Blue supporters out there have to be more than pleased with that quote from Jones. He knows that expectations will be high for him and the rest of the offense, but the fourth-year signal-caller also knows that the potential is most definitely there for them to be great. During OTAs and minicamp, Jones was without several playmakers due to injury.
However, the hope is that Sterling Shepard, Kadarius Toney and Kenny Golladay will be ready to go for the first day of camp later this month. Once they’re all on the field, then this offense will really be able to build some strong chemistry together. Before you know it, the regular season will be here and the training wheels will come off.

The Giants and Jones have a great opportunity to start the campaign off with a bang going up against the Titans. Tennessee will surely be favored for that matchup, but the Giants have what it takes to pull off an upset. In order for that to happen, Jones and the rest of the offense will need to make both Daboll and Kafka proud with a strong showing.
