3. Week 12 at Dallas

The Giants will play on Thanksgiving this season in Dallas in what will likely be the most watched football game of the 2022 season. After being 12-5 with one of the most potent offenses last season, the Cowboys lost to the 49ers in the Wild Card Round.

Dak Prescott made a boneheaded decision to run the ball with less than 15 seconds left in the game, not leaving enough time for the Cowboys offense to set up and spike the ball, leaving Cowboys players and coaches looking confused as the clock ran out. This play served as a wonderful metaphor for the last 25 years of the Cowboys franchise.

Dallas is a very confusing team entering 2022. This offseason, the Cowboys were hamstrung by the cap thanks to the horrendous contract of Ezekiel Elliott. Their top wideout Amari Cooper and standout pass-rusher Randy Gregory departed, leaving two huge voids that went largely unfilled. The Cowboys offensive line is also getting older and they made a puzzling first-round selection, reaching on Tyler Smith to help ad youth to the group.

With a difficult schedule for Dallas, it is reasonable to believe that the Giants and Cowboys could be neck and neck in the standings entering this game. With both teams having explosive skill position players, it is fair to assume this could be a high-scoring game, as both teams have weak spots in the secondary.

While Daniel Jones has never beaten Prescott, there is no reason to believe he cannot do it this season, and pulling the upset off on the football holiday of the year would make quite the statement to the world. The Giants will enjoy that postgame Turkey after this game.
