2. Week 17 at Indianapolis

After being let down by Carson Wentz in a humiliating Week 18 loss at Jacksonville a season ago, the Colts traded Wentz to the Commanders and replaced him with the ever-steady Matt Ryan. While Ryan is the exact kind of quarterback the Colts need, a smart, turnover free quarterback, he is still in the final years of his career and has definitely lost a step.

Last season when the Giants played the Falcons, Ryan was showing shades of late-career Eli Manning, hitting the ground before the pass-rush came to avoid taking the hit. While the Colts are my pick to win the AFC South thanks to their stout defense, it is fair to wonder if Jonathan Taylor can carry their offense to the degree he did a season ago.

Similar to when the Giants play the Titans early in the season, NY will have much better chances to beat offenses centered around their running games, as the secondary is the weakness of the Giants and will likely get exposed by high-octane passing offenses. This should be a low-scoring contest too. Give the G-Men the advantage heading into this one.
