1. Week 18 at Philadelphia

No team has gotten more unwarranted hype this offseason than the Philadelphia Eagles, with one Eagles Reporter for 94wip.com, Eliot Shorr-Parks, even saying that Jalen Hurts will get a handsome new contract soon. Seriously?

While that is laughable, If that happens, all New York Giants fans will be jumping for joy. This Eagles team has a lot of parallel hype to the 2011 “Dream Team” that epically failed and went 8-8. While Nick Sirianni and Hurts may be the most overrated coach and quarterback in the NFL, the Eagles do have great offensive and defensive lines, which will challenge the Giants in their two matchups this season, as well as a much improved receiving core led by Brown and DeVonta Smith.

As we have learned as Giants fans, if you don’t have a quarterback in the NFL, you have very little chance of winning games. While we believe Jones is the second-best quarterback in the NFC East, ahead of Hurts, both quarterbacks have to prove this season that they can be franchise quarterbacks if they want to remain NFL starters.

In the cold weather of Philadelphia, in a game that could decide if one or both of these teams make the playoffs, we’ll take Jones over Hurts, as he is a significantly better passer. This game is ripe for the Giants taking, with them silencing Philadelphia fans yet again.
