1. The Kansas City Chiefs won’t land Saquon Barkley either
On top of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Kansas City Chiefs have also been mentioned as a team that could trade for Barkley. The Chiefs are already considered among the favorites to win the Super Bowl next season. Imagine if Patrick Mahomes was able to add Barkley to his offense. He’d be happier than Brady. Again, though, Mahomes will be left disappointed.
Barkley, entering the final year of his contract with the G-Men, looks poised to have a monster year for the team. With Mike Kafka as the new offensive coordinator, Barkley is expected to run the heck out of the ball, while also being a force in the aerial attack too. Barkley will play a big role in the passing game and we could see the same kind of production there from his rookie season.

The Giants feel like an underdog team to make the playoffs this year. While they’re probably not going to win the NFC East – with the Dallas Cowboys as the favorites – it wouldn’t be a total shocker to see the Giants sneak in with a Wild Card spot. In order for that to happen, Barkley will need to receive loads of touches each Sunday. He won’t be doing that for KC.
