1. Preseason finale vs. the New York Jets

The final preseason game is against the rival New York Jets on Aug. 28. Every year fans pack Metlife Stadium, although it is just a preseason game. A win in this one would allow fans to have bragging rights against Jets supporters.

Since it is the final game as well, starters will likely get their reps, especially the younger ones. The Giants recently selected Thibodeaux with the No. 5 overall pick. Seeing if he can get to a mobile QB like Zach Wilson will certainly be interesting, and fans would love to see him make the other New York QB struggle.

Another young player to look out for is Neal. The Giants used the No. 7 overall pick on the Alabama product, and they are hoping he can be a stud with Andrew Thomas on the offensive line for a long time. The Giants have had their offensive line struggles in what seems like forever, but in the final game they will be getting reps. It may not be lots of reps, but the reps will likely be against a solid Jets defensive line. It will be interesting to see what this new and improved offensive line can do before the start of the season.

Finally, Daniel Jones is going to be the most important player to watch, as he has to step it up in Year 4 and show he has what it takes to be the QB of this team for the future. The new regime was quick to bring in Taylor, and they likely did that because Jones wasn’t drafted by them. In this game, Jones needs to show that he is capable of running Daboll’s offense without any issues.

This game will likely be the most interesting preseason contest, as the Giants vs Jets is always an event. Last preseason the Jets were able to skid by 12-7, but the Giants are hoping to put up more than seven points this time. The final score for this game could potentially be around 20-13. Fans should expect the Giants to come out with hopefully a third preseason win – and head into the regular season with a lot of momentum.
