2. Left guard

New York Giants fans will be excited to see a revamped offensive line in 2022, which began its rebuild in 2020 when Andrew Thomas was drafted to play left tackle for the Giants. After a shaky first season, Thomas was a different man in his second season looking like a future Pro-Bowl level player.

The revamp of the offensive line did not stop there, with the Giants drafting Alabama’s Evan Neal to play right tackle. The Giants also drafted North Carolina guard Joshua Ezeudu and in free agency the team signed Jon Feliciano and Mark Glowinski.

With Glowinksi penciled in as the starter at right guard, and Feliciano at center, that leaves a battle  wide open at left guard. The two presumed favorites to fill that vacancy are rookie Josh Ezeudu and the returning Shane Lemieux, who missed the majority of last season with a knee injury.

If the winner of the starting job ends training camp looking like an above average guard, then fans should raise their levels of excitement to see Daniel Jones this season, as he would have the best chance to show the front office that he is the future at quarterback. This new-look OL will help this team tremendously. We should know the starting LG sooner than later.
