1. Cornerback

The Giants cornerback room looks to be a glaring weakness without James Bradberry in town. Adoree’ Jackson looks to be the No. 1 corner this upcoming season and that’s going to stay true unless Schoen pulls off some last-minute blockbuster trade, but that’s not expected.

Notable names at corner on the Giants roster who could be starters in 2022 are Cordale Flott, Rodarius Williams, Darnay Holmes and Aaron Robinson. Holmes and Robinson played a good amount of snaps last season and will likely be relied on again in 2022. LSU’s standout Flott should be one to keep an eye on, as he is a player that could have a stellar performance in training camp and will likely play a good amount of snaps for the Giants in 2022.

Overall, the cornerback room is wide open for starting jobs and will be one of the most competitive position battles to watch during training camp. Although the cornerback room may appear very thin right now, training camp could see some breakthrough players that could play an important role in the Giants defense for 2022 and beyond.

Flott could very well be one of those guys to turn heads. We’ll see how he and the other CBs perform in the coming weeks. All in all, though, this should be an exciting camp, with a lot of players ready to make an impact from the start.
