1. Xavier McKinney

Following a breakout season in 2021 where Xavier McKinney emerged as a fantastic safety, more good stuff is on the way. Last year, he racked up 93 combined tackles, five interceptions, and 10 pass deflections, allowing only 443 yards and 3 TDs on a much improved 67.9% completion percentage.

With the NY Giants cutting veteran safety Logan Ryan in the offseason, McKinney will have to take on an even bigger role this year. He will be the No. 1 safety next to either Julian Love or Dane Belton.

If McKinney can continue to make the improvements we saw him make last season, then there is a very good chance that he makes his first career Pro Bowl. There’s an argument that he should have been in the mix last winter too.

McKinney was one of the very few good picks of the Dave Gettleman era. If he can continue to get better each season, then the sky will truly be the limit for his potential. Fans are excited about what he’ll be able to get done this campaign and rightfully so.
