Remember when Evan Engram called out the Giants and basically guaranteed a Jacksonville win when facing his former team? It appears karma has caught up to the former first-round pick tight end at the start of Jaguars training camp.

After things didn’t end well for Engram with the NY Giants, he headed south and reached a new deal with the AFC South side. With the Jaguars kicking off camp this week, Engram was hoping to make noise early on and impress the fanbase. The opposite has been the case, as a video has made its way to Twitter with Engram doing what he did best for NY – dropping a perfectly thrown ball.

Evan Engram dropping a pass is nothing new for NY Giants fans to see

Giants fans are roasting Engram in the replies to the tweet above and that shouldn’t come as a surprise. Engram doesn’t have many supporters left in East Rutherford, as his drops truly did provide people with an unreal amount of anxiety.

No one has forgotten about his drop against the Eagles in 2020 at Lincoln Financial Field. Had he come down with the ball, that game would have been over. The pigskin quite literally hit him right in the hands. Daniel Jones couldn’t have put it in a better spot.

Instead of NY celebrating a win that night, the Eagles got the ball back and pulled off a late win. Yup, that one was on Engram. That wasn’t the only costly mistake from Engram, which obviously made the decision easy for new general manager Joe Schoen not to bring him back for the 2022 campaign.

Jacksonville decided to give him a chance to get his career back on track and things aren’t going smoothly. People all over New York are already predicting that Engram will get released at some point during the regular season by the Jags.

Those same folks are even suggesting that he might not even make it out of camp. Engram has a ton of potential, but he can’t seem to put it all together. If he wants to make things work with his new team, he’s going to have to clean things up as soon as possible. Otherwise, NY supporters are going to keep trolling him for silly mistakes that he’s making out on the field. Hey, that’s Jacksonville’s problem now, though.
