3. Daniel Jones run
Quarterback Daniel Jones is entering a last-chance season in New York. The Giants opted to not pick up his fifth-year option on his rookie contract. A solid training camp could be exactly what Jones needs to help correct the course of his career. Him becoming more comfortable in this offense will be crucial.
With Brian Daboll and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka building the new offensive playbook, Jones should have all the opportunities to succeed. Daboll and Kafka both played integral roles in the success of Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, respectively. They should be able to help Jones unlock his full potential.
A simple quarterback draw that led to a touchdown from Jones could be a sign of things to come. Jones has been one of the more active runners at the quarterback position. He is a proven runner who has recorded 1,000 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 172 rushing attempts.
If Jones can help solidify the run game, it should help open the entire offense. This, in turn, will help him improve his passing game. Through 38 career games, he has thrown for 8,398 yards, 45 touchdowns, and 29 interceptions. Adding another layer to his game could show just how good he is.
