1. Kadarius Toney touchdown
A touchdown grab by Kadarius Toney is what summed up the Giants first day of training camp. It showed three distinct things for this team: Toney is fully healthy, Jones can throw a solid ball into coverage and cornerback Aaron Robinson could be a staple of this secondary this season.
Toney hauled in a tough reception in the corner of the end zone. He will be expected to be a big factor in this Giants offense this season. He will also hope to find much more success than he did during his rookie year.
Toney appeared in 10 games throughout his rookie season. Unfortunately, his playing time varied every week and he struggled to find success in an offense that was among the worst in recent history. He finished his rookie season with 39 receptions, 420 receiving yards and zero total touchdowns. Those numbers should all be drastically better this year.
The Giants, and the NFL as a whole, are still yet to see how good Toney can be when fully healthy. He was riddled with injuries throughout his rookie season. After having knee surgery at the beginning of the offseason, Toney now looks like he is at 100 percent for the first time.
