1. OLB Azeez Ojulari
After a great rookie season in which Azeez Ojulari broke the *official NY Giants rookie sacks record, it seems as if he is destined to be great, especially after being paired with No. 5 overall pick Kayvon Thibodeaux out of Oregon. However, Ojulari was recently put on the NFI list with a hamstring injury.
While this alone is not a major injury and it’s not considered overly serious, hamstring injuries are notorious for nagging a player over time and it could potentially hinder Ojulari’s season. This is nothing guaranteed, however, as this injury could heal with no problems. Despite this, it is still something to keep an eye on.
Ojulari is set to have a big season after his tremendous rookie year. Hopefully this injury is not something that bothers him throughout the season as it could really hamper the NY Giants defense. Ojulari is a stud player and he’ll be looked at to help show Thibodeaux the ropes. The hope is he can get back on the field as soon as possible.
