1. Dexter Lawerence

Dexter Lawerence has been a living nightmare for the Giants offense during the first week of training camp. Lawerence, nicknamed “Sexy Dexy,” is a 6-4, 342-pound defensive tackle who has been living in the Giants backfield.

While Lawerence has been inconsistent in his Giants career, especially struggling to get to the quarterback in the passing game, he has gotten better every season, and it is expected he will take a big jump this season. There is a strong likelihood that Lawerence will see significant time at the nose guard position in the middle of the Giants three man front, a position his body is built to thrive in.

With the Giants employing only two defensive lineman, while putting five players in the secondary in some defensive looks, it will be imperative for Lawerence to put pressure on opposing quarterbacks. If Lawerence, who has Pro Bowl caliber talent, can finally take the jump he looks primed to take, the Giants will have one of the best defensive tackle duos in the NFL.
