2. WR Kenny Golladay

Offensive consistency did not exist for the Giants in 2021. Injuries depleted the offense at times, and it got even worse when the Giants lost Daniel Jones to a neck injury for the last month and a half of the season. Those last six weeks proved how bad the offense really was when we had Mike Glennon and Jake Fromm as the QBs at one point.

A year ago, Kenny Golladay as WR1 for the Giants sounded like heaven on earth to Giants fans. Finally, someone who could bring some consistency to that position. Nobody expected Golladay to catch zero, yes, zero touchdowns for New York in 2021 and barley eclipsed 500 yards receiving.

Golladay surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in two of his four seasons with the Lions. Him not catching a single touchdown is difficult for Giants fans to swallow, and he quite honestly needs a touchdown Week 1 to get the bad vibes away. Sterling Shepard and Golladay need to show second year pro Kadarius Toney and rookie Wan’Dale Robinson the ropes, and how to be a successful NFL wide receiver.
