Jones linked with Kadarius Toney often

Jones and second-year wide receiver Kadarius Toney had some strong chemistry on Day 6, as the pair connected on several big passes. Fans were going wild on social media seeing Toney haul in some primetime balls from Danny Dimes.

Toney was able to beat the corner on this route, and Jones was able to place it in a spot where only he could come down with it. The pair was able to link on yet another big play during individual drills. Toney beat veteran cornerback Adoree’ Jackson and was able to reach the end zone. This is the kind of magic people love seeing.

After the rookie season that Toney had, this connection should be encouraging. The pair showed flashes at times last season, but injuries derailed both of their time on the field together. By the end of the 2021 season, Toney appeared in just 10 games. He recorded 39 receptions for 420 yards. He averaged 10.8 yards per reception.

Heading into this upcoming campaign, Toney should be utilized much more often. He has the potential to impact the Giants offense whenever he is on the field. Depending on how head coach Brian Daboll and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka use him, he could be one of the most dynamic players in the division. Both Jones and Toney could be in line for good seasons in 2022.
