2. Staying after practice to try and get things right

After his somewhat rough outing on Monday, Jones chose to stay after practice to put more work in. Jones stayed after and put in time with wide receivers David Sills and Collin Johnson.

While Sills made just four appearances during the Giants regular season in 2021, he has become a staple of the practice squad. He and Jones have been known to put in extra together regularly.

While Jones electing to stay after could just mean that he wants to put in extra work, it could also mean that he knows he struggled on Monday. It could also prove that he knows that he can be better.

His willingness to do the extra work should excite fans. He has proven that he can be a solid pass thrower. Throughout his career, he has thrown for 8,398 yards and 45 touchdowns. In order to have a big 2022 season, he may need to put in extra work regularly.
