Tulane C Sincere Haynesworth in the fifth round

Note: The Giants don’t currently have a sixth-round pick for the 2023 NFL Draft.

The first item on Joe Schoen’s long laundry list of things to fix with the Giants this offseason was  the offensive line. Schoen brought in 11 new faces to the offensive line room and it is fair to assume it is a position he will continually target in the NFL Draft.

After this upcoming season, Giants veteran center Jon Felicano’s contract will expire, so it is fair to assume the Giants will be looking for his replacement in 2023. Drafting a center to pair with a new young QB (more below) makes perfect sense, and Sincere Haynesworth could be a solid addition.

The Pro Football Network’s description of Haynesworth makes him seem like a tremendous fit for the Giants physical offensive line.

"“We’re not joking when we say that Sincere Haynesworth is more than just an incredible name. The 6’1″, 305-pound Tulane center is one of the top interior offensive linemen in the AAC. Where the low man wins in the tranches, Haynesworth’s size gives him a natural leverage advantage. Furthermore, he showcases excellent strength and a mauler’s mentality to routinely put his opponent into the dirt. However, he’s equal part brains and brawn, with the football IQ to be a visible leader and director on the offensive line.”"
