8 plays from camp that NY Giants fans should still be talking about
By Zak Musso
3. Leonard Williams destroys Mark Glowinski
Leonard Williams is showing early in camp that he is still the best player on the Giants roster. In this play, Williams absolutely blows up new Giants right guard Mark Glowinski, driving him straight into the backfield.
While you don’t want to see the Giants best guard getting destroyed off the point of attack like that, it is pretty sweet to watch Williams dominate.
2. Daniel Jones throws dart to Wan’Dale Robinson for a TD
Jones whips it across the field to Robinson for the touchdown! That is a call you may hear announcers say a lot this upcoming season. It is clear that Jones and Robinson have developed chemistry this summer, as Jones has looked his way often.
New Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka has made it a priority to feed the ball to the speedy Robinson, and it is paying dividends for the offense so far in camp. It’s undeniable that the Giants offense has produced anemic results that past two seasons, so continually getting the ball to your speedy new weapon could help to change the offensive tides in New York.
1. Daniel Jones to Kenny Golladay for a score
This duo clearly never got on the same page a year ago, so this is an awesome sign. Jones does everything right on this play, scans the field, and finds Kenny Golladay across the back line of the end zone for a touchdown.
The Giants had a conservative offensive philosophy a year ago, and did not take downfield shots, especially contested catch shots, a facet Golladay thrives in. If these two can get on the same page in 2022, it will make the Giants offense much more dangerous this season. Golladay will surely be a player to watch.
