4 main takeaways from NY Giants Fan Fest scrimmage at MetLife Stadium
1. Kenny Golladay is due for a bounce-back season
After the rough 2021 campaign for Kenny Golladay, several people immediately lost hope on him living up to this four-year, $72 million deal. The fact that he scored zero touchdowns was incomprehensible. How in the heck did the Giants big-time offseason signing not score a single TD?
During the Friday scrimmage, Golladay came down with several impressive grabs, including one in the end zone that should have been called a score. In our opinion, we’re just going to go ahead and give Golladay six for this one.
In order for the Giants to have success in 2022, they really need Golladay to step his game up and get back to the level that won him so many fans while he was still with the Detroit Lions. NY supporters loved what they saw out of Golladay during the most recent scrimmage. The hope is he can keep on improving himself and ball out during the preseason. Then once the regular season gets here, let’s hope Golladay can look like one of the best wideouts in the NFC East.
