3. WR Kadarius Toney

It seems as if NY really found a star in Kadarius Toney last season. He’s capable of so much more, especially in the new offensive system Daboll has been installing thus far. Toney missed seven games in his rookie season with the Giants, and the injury bug may have hit Toney a little early this season.

He was able to get back on the field, however, doing some individual drills in Tuesday’s practice. Don’t expect to see Toney play in the Giants second preseason game this Sunday. They are not willing to risk losing him for a prolonged period of time.

The team’s best interest would be to keep him as fresh as possible for meeting with Tennessee. Giants fans remember his breakout game in the NFL last season where he caught 10 passes for 189 yards, breaking Odell Beckham Jr.’s rookie record for most receiving yards by a Giant. There’s no question that Toney has huge potential to thrive in this offense. Can he stay healthy, though? That’s the big question.
