NY Giants running back Saquon Barkley has clearly had enough. While his confidence is high right now thanks to being 100 percent healthy – which has been showcased with some outstanding plays this summer – Barkley has also heard all the negative talk about one particular aspect about his game: his dancing.

Yes, we’ve seen Barkley try and move around a bit to try and break off for a big play, rather than just moving upfield for some solid 4-5 yards. It’s been a point of emphasis for head coach Brian Daboll and Barkley is ready to make people eat their words once Week 1 arrives. Matter of fact, Barkley looks more than annoyed even thinking about the folks who have continuously called him out.

Saquon Barkley is fed up of haters coming after him

"“This is probably the last time I speak on this – I know people say dancing and he (Barkley) doesn’t get north and south, but I’m not just going to run into any of my linemen’s back. That’s not how I play the game, that’s not how I’ve been playing since I was eight years old. I’ve been playing this position for a very long time. By no means am I a perfect running back and I still got so much work to do, but I know that’s been a conversation or a thing that’s been said about me.”"

Barkley is not happy about some people – who watch Giants game from the comfort of their homes on a couch – coming after him like this. Members of the media have also taken several shots at the former No. 2 overall pick in recent years. Not only that, an anonymous NFL coach had the audacity to say Barkley doesn’t know how to play the position. That’s a big yikes.

After his unforgettable rookie season in 2018, things haven’t been the same for Barkley, but there’s most definitely plenty of excitement surrounding his game now that he’ll be working with Daboll and Mike Kafka.

People out there still aren’t high on Barkley leading up to the new campaign and they think he’s in for another disappointing year for Big Blue. We don’t think that will be the case this fall and winter, as Barkley’s confidence is back and he’s going to prove so many naysayers out there wrong. He’s due for a big season.
